Synopsis: Jason, a successful playwright, has lost his writing partner and finds a new one, Phoebe, who complicates his life on his wedding day and for over a decade after. The course of true love never runs smooth!

Jason 30-40, urbane New Yorker
Phoebe 30s, naïve, from a small town, former elementary teacher.
Allison 30s, socially adept, intelligent, comes from money
Blanche 50s, ex chorus girl, street-smart, successful theatrical agent.
Leo 30-40, Jason’s best friend, a columnist/reporter
Kate 30-40, shrewd, scheming actress
