Bob Milne’s Ragtime

Bob Milne, the world renowned ragtime pianist returns to thrill us with his music and delight us with stories about the pioneers who created the music genre.

Why do people come back time and time again to hear Bob Milne? Even the theatre ushers and volunteers reserve their spots a year in advance. Universally recognized as the world’s greatest, Bob thrills audiences around the world with his own special brand of ragtime and gospel music. In addition to the music, he has a magical touch as a storyteller, recounting stories not only about music greats like Scott Joplin who penned this music, but about his own fascinating life as what he calls “a journeyman piano player”.  A few minutes with Bob and the audience is captivated for life.

Bob has been featured in a PBS special, and filmed for their archives by the Library of Congress, in recognition of his unique place in musical history, and his natural talent as a charismatic entertainer. Come and be part of this history, and perhaps take home some of Bob’s CDs as a souvenir.

Don’t miss this annual favourite!
